Delhi is all set to host its first ever Commonwealth Games from October 3, 2010 to October 14, 2010. From roads to buildings and other infrastructural facilities, the national capital has got a complete makeover making it ready for this sports extravaganza. 72 nations will compete in 17 different sports for supremacy in the world of commomwealth sports. Several new stadiums and training centers have been constructed and the old stadiums have been renovated in accordance to latest technology and standards. Apart from this, a world class games village has also been constructed n the banks of River Yamuna to accommodate around 8000 athletes from all over the world.Here is a glimpe of some major competition venues for Commmonwealth Games 2010.
